Regardless of which method you use to return your ballot, your choices have to be transcribed onto a regular optical scan ballot to be tabulated.  This is done under the supervision or direction of the County Canvassing Board in a public meeting.  If you have followed the instructions provided, your identity is removed from the process before your ballot choices are transcribed.
